Sketchers Go Golf Drive 2 Golf Shoe Review
The Go Golf Drive 2 is the 2nd generation from Sketcher’s Go Golf Drive line. Just like its predecessor, it doesn’t disappoint when it comes to performance and comfort.
The only notable difference with the 1st generation is that Go Golf Drive 2 is spikeless while the other one is spiked. Being a spikeless shoe has its benefits like wearing the shoe around casually off the course as well as on the golf course.
When it comes to features, the Go Golf Drive 2 shoe also meets the expectations of golfers in several ways. Let’s have a look at those features and see if it’s worth buying today on Amazon.
Sketchers Go Golf Drive 2 Shoe Features
Goga Mat Insole
Just like in the 1st generation, the Goga Mat technology is also designed specifically to provide a medium-level cushion for excellent comfort. The spikeless sole makes it flat and comfortable.
Next-Gen Resalyte® Midsole
The Resalyte Midsole makes the shoe flatter and lighter for maximum comfort. It doesn’t provide shock-absorbing quality which differentiates it from its predecessor.
Rubber Studded Traction Sole
The rubber studded sole ensures maximum traction to provide support on both golf course turf and indoor hitting mats. The rubber traction makes it stable to play in and comfortable to walk on.
Premium Leather
Sketchers stitched these golf shoes together with premium leather and you can also choose to have the Sketchers logo embossed into the side of the shoe in a more incognito manner so it’s not as prominent on the shoe. But this may cost extra.
Durable Laces
The shoe laces on the Golf Drive 2 give quality feel and appear durable to hold up for a long time. The metal circle eye lits the laces pull through help keep the shoe sturdy and in form to avoid breakdown like most rubber shoes.
H2GO Shield Upper
Unfortunately these golf shoes are not fully water resistant. But the ‘water resistant’ H2GO Shield upper will keep out light dew and rain. They also have great breathability to keep your feet warm, yet dry on cold days.
